Next Meeting: 28 Jan 2020

Thanks to everyone who came to the writing group in 2019 to share work, inspiration, frustration and biscuits. We finished the year with a spectacular display of seasonal flash fiction. We had stories about the secret life of the Christmas tree, the three wise women, Rudolph's trip into a new dimension, and enjoyed a moment of cosmic consciousness courtesy of Slade's 'Merry Christmas Everybody'.

Next Meeting: 17 Dec - Take-Away Tales II: The Xmas Edition

Our Take-Away Tales display was so successful that we've decided to do it again, this time with a Christmas theme.

Bring your 500 word story or poem (or any other format you like) to the next meeting, on 17 Dec, 6.00 to 7.30pm in Hackney Archives, and we'll display it in the library for customers to take away over the Christmas period. Whether you fancy poetry, comedy, a bit of seasonal fantasy or a kids' story, bring 'em along!
